Pete Kennedy of Pisgah Map Company has produced two attractive maps covering the US Forest Service Grandfather Ranger District. The map covering the district’s east side includes Linville Gorge Wilderness. It indicates the official Forest Service trails, and does so with reasonable accuracy. It was not intended to be a highly detailed map of the wilderness area, but is still a very nice map that includes the gorge and surrounding area. It’s a good one to include in your collection.
