Jack-o-lantern mushrooms (Omphalotus olearius) are infamously confused with chanterelles by novice foragers, which can be a serious problem because jack-o-lanterns will make you terribly sick. The better experience with jack-o-lanterns is to see them at night when they glow faintly with bio-luminescence. (Photo: Jon)
