The retaining wall at Babel Tower was capped today, filling a gaping gap on the Linville Gorge Trail. Over a hundred hours of work have gone into this erosion control measure at one of the most heavily used sites in Linville Gorge Wilderness. The next step will be to naturalize the area and begin the long process of recovery.
