August is apparently trash month. Lots of work going on picking up along the Linville Gorge Trail. Today there was a bit of cleaning on Babel Tower. Most of it was fresh trash, the kind that will be back soon. Some of it was decades old, so this was a nice deep clean. There’s some graffiti on the rock, so there may need to be some scrubbing or stripping or both.
